          The purpose of this piece is to feel the "puhed one." By that I mean how measures 2, 3, 6 & 7 are tied from the 'and' of the fourth beat in the preceding measure. With the metronomic quality of MIDI you can practice with the bass and drums to get a feel for how those measures are pushed, then play with just the drums. Make sure that for measures 2, 3, 6 & 7 you "push the one," but only as far as an eighth note.
