I Wanna Be Your Man
At one of the Blues Branches sessions Steve said, "I heard this great version McCartney did of I Wanna Be Your Man." After a lengthy story about how The Beatles wrote the song for The Rolling Stones, Steve couldn't remember how the riff went. His inadequate description coupled with our desire to roll the tape led to our settling for this version. Although Steve insists it's not like the McCartney version, I never heard the latter.
